Yvette Turner, “Vet”, age 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2023. She will be remembered for her sense of fashion, her willingness to lend an ear to those in need, her upfront personality, and her ability to make you laugh and smile. She enjoyed watching movies, reading romance novels and shopping. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
She graduated from Admiral King High School where she was a member of the marching band and a member of student council. She was very caring, so she worked with people with disabilities at various locations in Columbus.
She will be dearly missed by her children that she loved: son Avonte Hisle; 3 daughters, Ajarae Hisle, Amari Turner, and MarZhae Cheers; granddaughters whom she adored, Ta’Laijah Edwards and Amira Hisle; sister LaDeanna Turner; nephews Naijae Manning and Drejon Barbra; niece LaDeaire Keys and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Turner and Evangelist Sandra Turner; maternal grandparents Robert and Margaret Fields; paternal grandparents Copeland and Catherine Turner.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, from 10am until of services at 11am at City of Deliverance International Ministries, 1897 E. 30th St., Lorain, OH where Bishop Steve E. Robinson is officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery
