Willie T Johnson

Willie Terrell Johnson, 49, of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Oak Hills Nursing Home.

Willie was born in Lorain, Ohio on August 29, 1973 and had been a lifelong resident. He attended Lorain Admiral King High School where he played football and basketball.

Willie is survived by his six children: Austyn Keaton, Naketa Johnson, Delawrence Johnson, Naomi Johnson, David Johnson and Daniel Johnson; his siblings: Darrell Johnson, Steven (Barbara) Johnson, Darlene Johnson (passed on May 18, 2023), Reginal (Makala) Johnson, Terrance Ogletree McRae, Joshua McRae, Ariane Newell, and Kenyada McRae; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hicks and Evangelist Barbara Johnson-McRae; his brother, Mark Mays; and nephew, Mark Mays Jr.

 A viewing will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Living Word Church, 2002 E. 28th St. in Lorain.
