Willa Mae Gage, 91, born in Covington, Tennessee and raised in Lorain, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021. She worked for Kolczun and Kolczun Orthopaedic Associates until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Lorain where she served in the Rose of Sharon club until her health declined. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Willa will be sadly missed by her daughters, Vivian Phillips and Annette Echols and her sons, Larry Gage, David Gage (Gloria), Dwane Allen Gage, all of Lorain; four generations of grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Willa Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lee Gage Sr., in 1986; a son in infancy and sons, Eddie Gage Jr. and George Gage; two daughters, Jacqueline Marie Gage and Jeanette Payne; her parents, Horace and Anna Pearl (Miller) Maclin; brother, Frank Maclin; and sisters, Margaret Griffea, Hazel Tipton and Edna “Pewee” Monroe. A walk-through viewing will be Friday, August 27, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1516 E. 30th St., Lorain. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
