Velma L Brantford

Velma L Brantford, 94, of Lorain, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 18, 1927. She lived in this area since 1950. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and doing puzzle books. She also donated to numerous charities. Velma leaves to cherish her memory, a loving friend, JoLynn Bracy, whom she called her daughter; a host of step-grandchildren, one great step-grandchild and one step great-great-grandchild. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Brantford; her parents, Charles and Rosie Wright, and a sister. Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home from 11a.m. until 12 noon followed by a graveside service at 12:15 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
