Tanisha M Triggs

Tanisha M. Triggs (née Long), 45, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Maple Heights until relocating to Oklahoma.

She was born on July 10, 1978 in Lorain, Ohio to Wayne and Rita Long. Tanisha was educated in the Lorain City School system. After graduation, she attended Cleveland State University.  

She was formerly employed by Occupational Health Concepts in Bedford, Ohio. 

On October 10, 2020, Tanisha and Chris were united in holy matrimony in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed music, plays, sitting on the beach and her animals. Tanisha was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.   

Left to cherish her memory:  her husband, Christopher Triggs; daughter, Marindia Long of Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Nadia and Tianna Triggs; stepsons, Brandon, Caliah, and Chris Triggs; father-in-law, Donovan Triggs; sister-in-law, Shelia (Greg) Salters of Detroit; brother- in-law, Donovan Triggs, Jr. of Euclid; uncles, Stanley R. (Kathlyn) Long of Lorain, John G. (Lisa) Long of Houston, Texas and Jerome Whitfield of Elyria; aunts,  LaSharon (Thomas) McNeal of Kent, Mellone F. Long of Fort Myers, Florida and Kimberly Whitfield of Lorain; a host of cousins, family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne C. Long; mother, Rita (Burkes) Long; sister, Anissa M. Long; brother, Joshua M. Long; mother-in-law, Carolyn Triggs; paternal grandparents, John and Jewelene Long and maternal grandparents, Robert and Annie L. Whitfield. 

Calling hours will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4-6 pm at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052. On Friday, April 12, 2024, there will be a semi-private funeral held from 12 noon -1:00 pm for family and close friends only. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
