Susan M. Aaron-Brown

Susan M. Aaron-Brown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. Susan was born on June 7, 1954 in Sandusky, Ohio to Dave and Clara (Bradley) Aaron. She was the 2nd oldest of 10 children. At an early age, Susan (Sue Mae, as family called her) accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior under the leadership of Pastor Fred Tucker. Susan was a lifelong member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Susan also was a strong woman of faith and loved her family with all her heart, and she loved praising the Lord. Susan was well known for her passion of making and decorating cakes and desserts. Susan was a 1973 graduate of Sandusky High School. She received numerous Junior Achievement awards in her younger years of high school, which lead to her first job at the Social Security Administration office for many years. She later was employed by Sandusky Plastics for 17 years and the Candy Factory of Norwalk, Ohio. She went on to further her education and received a degree in accounting from the vocational business division at Sandusky High School, then later became employed by the Sandusky Ford Motor Company, retiring after 17 years. Susan will be deeply missed by her loving daughter and best friend, ShaConda (Jeffery) Murphy of Sandusky, Oh; 6 sisters, Clarice Aaron, Ida Aaron, Lois Aaron, Gwen Aaron, Deedra Aaron and Marla Aaron, all of Sandusky, Oh; 3 brothers, David (Regina) Aaron of Lorain, Elder Glenn (Sharon) Aaron of Columbus, Oh and Eric (Lisa) Aaron of Louisa, Va; a host of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, of whom she loved dearly; a special uncle, Danny Aaron Sr; 3 very special cousins, Sid Aaron, Sammy Caffey, and Martha McDonald; and special cousin Linda Donald, and Carolyn Lanear; and very special friends, Ernest Farrell, Leona Butler, Lois Young, Ann Abualnil and Beverly Roberts. Susan was preceded in death by both of her parents, Dave and Clara (Bradley) Aaron, one nephew, James (Mikey) Jones, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. A viewing will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10AM until time of funeral services at Noon at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky, Ohio , with Rev. Curtis Johnson Jr., Pastor, officiating . Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron, Oh 44870.
