Sherry Ann Jackson

Sherry Ann (Smith) Jackson, 64, of Lorain, passed away July 16, 2024.  

She was born on May 18, 1960, to the late Edward and Willie Mae “Pat” (Clinckscales) Smith. She was raised in Lorain and graduated from Lorain Admiral King in 1978. She pursued and completed higher education in dental assisting shortly after she graduated.  

In her spare time, Sherry loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, nana, aunt and friend. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Willie Mae “Pat” Smith. 

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Ce’Mone (Jackson) Gillespie; son-in-law, Tyrone Gillespie; grandchildren, London, Laya and Isaiah; brothers, Nathaniel (Diane) Smith and Marvin (Susan) Smith.  

Services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, with a family hour from 4 PM until the time of her memorial service at 5 PM, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44053. Rev. John R Jackson, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, will be officiating.
