Shanae Schirelle Lee

Shanae Schirelle Lee, 40, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 11, 2024. She was born June 22, 1984, in Lorain. Shanae attended Lorain Admiral King High School and graduated in 2002. She graduated with a medical assistant degree. Shanae worked as a private duty caregiver for the last several years. She was enrolled in an accelerated nursing program in which she was excelling. 

Shanae was always the life of the party, and she enjoyed having a good time. If you were looking for Shanae, you could always find her at her favorite spot…Facebook Live. She enjoyed putting on a show for all interested in her daily life. She loved dancing and performing her favorite song at Karaoke (TSAMPO)…If you know, you know. Shanae found great enjoyment in cooking delicious meals and entertaining her family and friends. She loved to play all types of games and host game nights. She was a great bowler. Shanae was also quite the comedian. She found great pleasure in spending time with her children at the local swimming pools. She had a laugh that will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. 

Shanae is survived by her children; Mar’Naja, Marcus, and Malaya Whitfield; her siblings; Todd Coleman, Tevin Harris, Siera Harris, Kevin (Marla) Davis, Vincent Bracey, Angelis Robinson, Angelica Robinson, Shakyra Robinson, Amber Davis, and Kylee Shaner; grandmothers; Helen Nelson-Hamlett and Juliete Lee; aunt; Natalie (Kevin) Hubbard; uncles; Nathaniel Nelson and Theron Nelson; and aunt Angela (Cricket) Ross; Godchildren; Nar’Varryon Mcafee and Ca’Mariya Boone; special mom; Carole Williams; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friends; Marcus Whitfield, Brooke Little, LaTeisha Goodwin, Yvonne (Pookie) Watkins, and Shalieda Williams. 

Shanae was proceeded in death by her parents; Erica Nelson-Lewis and Vincent Lee; uncle; Trevor Hamlett; and grandfathers; Willie J. Nelson and David Lee.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 3 PM until the time of service at 4 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain OH 44053
