Seymour D Anderson Jr

Seymour D. Anderson Jr, 29, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a lengthy illness. He was born September 15, 1992 in Amherst, Ohio and lived in Lorain County all of his life. He graduated from Admiral King High School, Class of 2011. He also attended Lorain County Community College where he studied culinary arts. He was a member of House of Praise where he was active in the men’s youth group. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his father, Seymour Anderson Sr. (Loretta Muncy); his mother, Lillian M. Watkins (Luis Ortiz); his siblings, Dawayne Watkins, William Grant-Fears, Darrius Fears, Simone Noel, CJ Coats, Brittney Muncy, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by this paternal grandparents, Tommy and Dora Anderson; his maternal grandparents, Wade Watkins Sr. and Lossie Mae Watkins; uncles, Robert Lee Anderson, Gerald Anderson, Wade Watkins Jr., Larry Watkins, Eugene Watkins, Wendell Watkins and Ricky Watkins; aunts, Rita Anderson, Henrietta Childress, Mary McDowell and Margaret Nelson. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Living Word Church, 2002 E 28th St., Lorain. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Social distancing and wearing a mask are required.
