Nancy Ann Howard

Nancy Ann Howard, 80, of Lorain, passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born February 28, 1944, in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.  

She retired from the Lorain City School system after 15 years of service.  

Nancy loved the Lord and fellowshipped with many ministries in Lorain County. She enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren and family.  

Nancy leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jacque Howard and Tina Howard, both of Lorain, Mark Howard of Las Vegas, NV, Yusef Howard of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher Howard of Columbus, and Kwand Howard of Louisville, KY; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; two brothers, Joel (Donna Brown) Dampier and Joseph Dale Dampier; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  

Nancy was preceded into death by her son, John K. Howard; her parents, James Dampier Sr. and Jamina “Jam” Hernandez (née McDowell); two brothers, James Dampier and Johnny Dampier.  

Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at Noon at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
