Michael Martice Hermon, Jr

Michael Martice Hermon, Jr., 19, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Michael was born April 7, 2002, in Chicago Illinois, and had lived in Lorain for most of his life. He graduated from Lorain High School in 2021, where he participated in the school band, played baseball, and was a standout athlete in track and field. He was presently attending Lorain County Community College. He was a member of Living Word Church where he was part of the youth, drama, and music ministries.

Michael enjoyed music and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. He was able to speak Spanish and French fluently.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory his father, Michael Hermon, Sr., and mother, Natasha Dean; two sisters, Mikiya Hermon and Nakeya Hermon; a brother, Martice Hermon; paternal grandmother Teretha Hermon; maternal grandfather Stephen Dean; his aunts, Nichole Hermon and Tiffani Hermon and uncles, Stephen Croff, Mekyell Dean, Julius Croff, Terrell Croff and Gregory Holmes; a special friend, Ty’Lea Bryant; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Hermon and grandmother, Carol Croff; his great grandmothers, Betty Hermon and Ida May Patton, and great grandfather, HJ Croff.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon at Living Word Church, 2002 E. 28th St., Lorain Ohio 44055. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Ohio.

Social distancing and wearing a mask are required.
