Maxine L Lee

Maxine L. Lee (née Walker), 76, of Elyria, peacefully transitioned Friday, November 29, 2024. 

She was the oldest daughter of Edward and May Dora Blue (née Elliott), born December 17, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was married to Joseph Lee for 42 years, and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with him in his semi-truck while he worked. They would often travel to visit his family in New York, Georgia, and South Carolina. She loved 'SHOPPING', playing bingo and cards, and going to the casinos. She was known for her great cooking and for her banana pudding, sweet potato pies, and pound cake. She would help anyone she could and anyone that knew her could attest to that. 

Maxine is survived by her husband, Joseph Lee; sons, Kevin Walker of Ellenwood, Georgia, and Warren Jeffery Walker of Lorain, Ohio; her daughter, Marquitta Martin (Marcus) of Streetsboro, Ohio; bonus daughters, Wendy Carter of Wagener, South Carolina, and Tonya Carter of Batesburg, South Carolina; granddaughters, Lyneice, Shalamar Lawrence (Josh), Lashanda, and Alicia; grandsons, Donald III, Kevin Jr., John, Jeffery, and Adrian; 22 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Danny Blue, and Anthony Wayne Blue Sr. of Lorain; her sister, Rhonda Blue of Elyria; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and May Dora Blue; brothers, Claudie E. Blue, Lloyd 'Bill' Blue, James E. Blue, Melvin Blue, and Daryl Blue Sr.; and a sister, Dora May 'Patty' Blue. 

Visitation hour will be Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain OH 44053. The burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
