Maxine Alberta Head

Maxine Alberta Head, 84, of Lorain, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 14, 1940, in Lorain, Ohio, to Albert and Maxine Ramsey.

She graduated from Lorain High School in the class of 1961A. Maxine worked at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon, Ohio from 1976 to 2009, retiring after 32 years of dedicated nursing assistant service. She was a lifetime resident of Lorain, Ohio. Maxine cherished her moments with family and friends, especially hosting at BBQs at the house. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crosswords, playing cards, and putting together puzzles.

Maxine is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Wildenthaler (David), Danielle Head, and Denise Head; her granddaughter, Mazarik Ramsey; her sisters, MaryAnn Johnson, June Ramsey, Barbara Ramsey, Katherine Ramsey, and Lillian Ramsey, all of Lorain; and her brothers, Ronald Ramsey (Bonnie), Micheal Ramsey (Ruby), and Jeffrey Ramsey, all of Lorain. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Maxine Ramsey; her sister, Louise Randleman; and her brothers, James, Robert, John, and Albert.

She will be loved and missed by all who had the opportunity to experience her kind words, her love, and her generosity.

Visitation hours will be Friday, October 25, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio, 44053, with a repast immediately following.
