Luther J Taylor, Jr

Luther Jason Taylor, Jr., 28, of Avon Lake, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 22, 1994, but had been a lifelong resident of Lorain County and a graduate of Lorain County JVS.

Luther had many skills and talents; he loved to work on cars and do landscaping. He was known for always joking around. He enjoyed playing basketball, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, and cooking in the kitchen.

Luther will be sadly missed by his father, Luther J Taylor, Sr., his mother, Kathleen Hopkins, and his stepfather, Micheal E Hopkins, Sr.; his daughter, Paisley A Taylor; his sisters, Ashely R Taylor, Desarae M Taylor and Amanda M Hopkins; his brothers, Xavier M Taylor, Luke J Taylor, and Micheal E Hopkins II; his grandparents, Ethel P Jones and Virgina M Hopkins; nieces, Adelina, Ary’Ona, and Camille; 7 aunts and 6 uncles, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Luther was preceded in the death by his grandparents, Thomas and Judith Kenny, grandfathers, Isaac C Taylor, Sr. and Evard Hopkins.

A visitation will be Thursday, September 21, from 11 AM until the time of his service at 12 noon at Faith Ministries, 1306 Euclid Ave, Lorain, Ohio.
