Lovell Terrell, 89, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, March 9, 2025, at his home. He was born February 3,1936 in Talladega, Alabama, and had been a resident of Sandusky since 1954.
He retired from the Lorain Ford plant after over 20 years of service in production. Lovell also owned and operated Terrell Hauling Service, collecting trash for Erie County for over 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and scrapping. He was known for his big heart and being very considerate and helpful to everyone he could.
Lovell is survived by his wife of 22 years, Wanda Terrell (née Jones); five daughters, LaVon Moore, Brenda Terrell, Tabitha (Rudolph) Baker, Christina (Elroy) Bew, and Davyne Terrell (special great granddaughter); a son, Jamie Terrell; two stepchildren, Chondra Hunter and Chad Hunter; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Terrell, Willie Mae Terrell, and Lindlon Terrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives.
Lovell was preceded in death by his son Travis Terrell, and daughter Linda Terrell; his parents, William Prince Terrell and Lestee Terrell (née Montgomery); a granddaughter, Tyme Terrell; his three brothers, Benny George Terrell, William Prince Terrell Jr., and Leon Terrell; and two sisters, Lois Williams and Carolyn Terrell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 1814 Milan Rd., Sandusky, OH. His burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
