Louise Legard Robinson Watson, 75, of North Ridgeville, passed away May 7, 2024 in the O'Neill Healthcare systems. She was born October 14, 1948 in Hammond, Louisiana and had been a resident of Lorain County for most of her life.
Louise was a member of New Life Deliverance Ministries in Lorain. During her active years she served in many auxiliaries, including HYPU as secretary, and Sunday school as secretary. She also served on the Nurse's Guild and sang in the Senior Choir. Louise retired from Wesleyan Village of Elyria.
She enjoyed the simple things in life. Reading was one of her favorite pastimes along with serving the Lord and caring for her son.
She leaves behind one son, William J. Robinson; siblings, James (Kat) Legard, Darnell (Molly) Legard, Genevia (George) Taylor, Dolores (Bruce) Reeves, Ophelia (Dan) Amerson, Pricilla Watkins and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Matthew Legard and Theresa Legard; brothers, Clarence Legard and Lawrence “Butch” Legard. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Robinson; her second husband, Eugene “Cowboy” Watson. There were no children born to this union.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 5pm until time of service at 6pm at New Life Deliverance Ministries, 400 Washington Avenue, Lorain Ohio, where Bishop Jessie Berry, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
