Lisa Richardson, 64, of Nashville, TN, transitioned on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Lisa was born on March 17, 1960 in Lorain, OH, where she graduated from Clearview High School in 1979. While in high school, she was a band member, played basketball, ran track and served on the cheerleading squad.
Lisa worked as a nursing assistant and held various positions in the service sector. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she loved spending time with family, especially during holidays and at family cookouts. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music, playing bingo, watching game shows, television mini-series, and live sporting events.
Lisa is survived by her children, Taylohr Richardson and Anthony (Lacee) Richardson; granddaughters, Zuri and Liohr Richardson; sisters, Jonette Brewer, Gladys Crisp, and Vidella Richardson; brothers, Steve Richardson, Duane Richardson, Tracey Richardson, and Kevin Richardson. She is also survived by a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Silas Richardson Sr.; godparents, Gladys and James Owens Sr.; stepfather, Nathaniel Johnson; sister, Karen Jackson; brothers, Silas Richardson Jr. and James Owens Jr.; and best friend, Lisa Blakely-Jones.
Visitation will commence at Living Word Church, 2002 E. 28th St., Lorain OH, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ray Robinson Jr. will officiate. The burial ceremony will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, OH.
Funeral arrangements and services have been entrusted to Brown-Robinson Funeral Home.
