On October 28, 2023 our beautiful Mother Lillian M. Seymore, 83, formerly of Lorain, peacefully embraced her final moments in Virginia, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and reminding us of the beauty of a life lived with grace and dignity. Her love for the Lord was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and instilling a deep sense of compassion toward others.
As a mother, Lillian embodied love in the purest form. Her children were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into nurturing them. As a grandmother, it was clear that Lillian radiated joy. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured each moment spent with them.
Lillian’s legacy will continue on through her children, Cynthia Diane, Gloria Fay (Jeff), Vincent Bailey (Stephanie), George Mayne (Charlotte), Barbara Ann (Willie), Angelique Renae, Tammy (Darnell), Scott and Randy and godson Michael Harrison (Glenda). Her memory will also be cherished by two of her closest nieces Cecilia and Cora and loving nephew Preston (Pat); two sisters-in-law, Ora and Helen. She also leaves to treasure her memory 35 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Homer Seymore, Jr; daughter Denise Darcell; her parents Samuel and Lettie Evans; her sisters, Lucille, Ida Mae, Willie Mae, Cora; brothers, Preston, Alfonzo, James, and Samuel.
Mother will truly be missed.
