Jordan W. James

Jordan W. James, 60, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2023 in Mercy Regional Medical Center. He was born February 15, 1962 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Lorain for the past 10 years. Jordan was a known fisherman and was a member of Teamsters Union #507. He enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time outdoors and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He was also known for always saying “Aaay!” He is survived by his wife, Kathleen James; his children, Samantha Mechling (Carl), Jordan James Jr, Justin Cofta and Daniel Straniak; thirteen grandchildren, four special grandchildren, Izabella James, Hamed Altemimi, Lilith Mechling and Carl Mechling, one brother, Joseph James, and other relatives and friends. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary James; two brothers, Thomas Patterson and Edgar James. Friends may call from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 27, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
