James L Turner

James L. Turner, 76 years old, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was born to the late Eddie L. Turner and Mamie Turner on October 1, 1947, in Lorain, Ohio where he was a lifelong resident. 

James had several different jobs, and he enjoyed being around his family. 

James is survived by his three daughters, Leticia (Rawlyn) Cook, Madelyn Turner, and Lavona Turner, and his son, James L. (Eve) Turner II; his two sisters, Rosa Hughes, and Katie Rowser; eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Turner. 

Visitation hour will be Friday, March 1, 2024, from 11AM until the time of his funeral service at 12PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain. His burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Bishop Melvin Brown of Cathedral of Praise, Lorain.
