It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Henry E. Moore Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and treasured friend. Henry was a remarkable individual whose selflessness and devotion to family, friends, and community left an indelible mark on all fortunate enough to know him.  

Henry's loving wife of 62 years, Betty Moore, stands as his steadfast partner. He is also survived by his seven cherished children: Pam Moore (Jeff Moore), Michelle Lynch, Henry Moore Jr. (Rene King), Cynthia Matthews, Veronica Moore, Janet Moore, and Brian Moore, along with his brother-in-law, Billy Denham (Catherine Denham). Henry shared a special relationship with Gwendolyn Kennedy, Clint Jackson, Vernon Durr, Kim Gould, James Fox (Tonia), Brison (BJ) Holiday, Terry Montgomery, and Tony Jones, whom he embraced as family.  

His legacy is carried on by his 20 grandchildren: Niecey, Shawn (deceased), Jason, Jeffery, Adrian, Kevin, Madison, Austin, Jasmine, Keyaira, Alexis, Shatara, Menyotta, Brianna, Desirae, Tenaj, Briana, and Anthony Jr., as well as numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.  

Henry dedicated 36 years of his career to Ford Motor Company, where he earned a reputation for his unwavering work ethic and dedication. Following his retirement, he continued serving his community as a crossing guard for Sandusky City Schools, showcasing his commitment to the safety and well-being of local children.  

A true enthusiast of cars and classic westerns, Henry's greatest passion was for his family. His wisdom, kindness, and steadfast support influenced the lives of many. He was a pillar of strength, instilling the values of hard work, respect, and compassion in his loved ones. His comforting presence and infectious laughter brought joy to every family gathering.  

Join us in celebrating Henry's life on Saturday, March 8, 2025, as we come together to honor a man whose love and generosity enriched countless lives. The details of the service are as follows:  

Wake: 10:30 AM / Service: 11:00 AM

Location: Brown-Robinson Funeral Home-Sandusky, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH 44870  

Burial: 1:00 PM

Location: Meadow Green Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron, Ohio 44839   

Repass: 2:00 PM 

Location: Spirit and Truth Ministries, 910 W. Madison Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870   

Henry Moore Sr. will be remembered for his boundless love and the exemplary life he led—one defined by selflessness, integrity, and unwavering devotion. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved him.
