Henry Lee Hagwood

Henry Lee Hagwood, 69, of California, formerly of Lorain Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2023. He was born February 17, 1954, in Welch West Virginia. 

Henry was a fun-loving and kindhearted person. He graduated from Norfolk High School in West Virginia where he played football. He was active in sports, playing ping-pong, and loved fishing. He was a self-taught musician who also had a passion for cooking.

Henry worked at Lorain U.S. Steel before moving to California, where he worked at Hydraulics International Inc until his death.

Henry will be sadly missed by his family, which includes his brothers, Cecil (Ruby) Johnson, Nathaniel Hagwood Jr, Herbert (Drema) Hagwood Sr., and Richard (Camille) Hagwood, and a sister, Jeanette (Jackie) Mosley; a sister-in-law, Sandra Hagwood; aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Mable Hagwood Sr., two sisters, Carolyn Hagwood, and Alisha Hagwood, and a brother, Roger Hagwood.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 11am until time of service at 12pm at Brown Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain Ohio. Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
