Grace M. Lovett

Grace Maiomi Lovett 85, of Lorain passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in her home following a short illness. 

Grace was born in Covington, Tennessee on June 27, 1937, and had lived in Lorain for over 70 years. 

Grace enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loving family 

Grace’s memory will be cherished by her two daughters, Anita Sutton, Alexis Smith, a stepdaughter Cheryl Lovett, and a stepson Gerard Lovett ;grandsons, Travis (Anita)Wright, Felix (Colleen)Sutton, and Preston Wright; 14 great-grandchildren; two special nieces Olga Wright, Darlene Dowell; a special nephew Edward Berger; a host of other nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

Grace was preceded into death by her husband Venoy Lovett, her parents Ermon and Rena Dowell, two brothers George Dowell, and Williams Dowell, and two sisters Margaret Dowell, and Erma Grant.
