Georgia Bea Hough

Georgia Bea Hough, 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday August 24, 2022, at her daughter's home. She was born May 15, 1930, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and was a lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio. Georgia was a fierce defender of family, and generous supporter of friends. She loved nature and beautiful things and took immense pride in her home, flower and vegetable gardens. She was a source of wisdom and strength that uplifted all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Georgia is survived by her children: Samuel (Darlene) Branch and Maria (Bradford) Williams; stepchildren: Diane Hough Fenderson and Jimmie Lee Hough; 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Booker and Elnora Williams, husband Lawrence C. Hough, son Donald Bennett, stepson Larry Hough and granddaughter Patricia. Friends and family will be received at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave in Lorain, on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at 11am at Friendship Baptist Church, 2160 Reeves Ave. Lorain, Ohio 44052. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
