George Wesley Davis, Jr

George Wesley Davis, Jr., 47, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois September 21, 1974. He has been a resident of Lorain for most of his life.

George formerly attended Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church in Elyria Ohio. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, and he also loved to go fishing.

George will be sadly missed by his wife, Eva Davis (nee Dalton); three sons, Anthony Davis, Trevon Davis and Avion Davis; his father, George Wesley Davis, Sr. and his mother, Mary Davis; his brother, Antonio Davis and sisters, Marcella Davis and Shamonica Davis; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

George was preceded into death by his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Holman and maternal grandfather, Donald Clark, and paternal grandfather, William Davis.

A Life Celebration service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain OH 44055. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
