Gayle A Jackson

Gayle A. Jackson, 56, of Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in OSU East Wexner Medical Center. She was born May 27, 1965, in Sandusky, Ohio to Starlin Jackson (deceased) and Pearlie (McDonald) Crowell. Gayle served in the U.S. Army for eight years where she received multiple honor ribbons and two Southwest Asia Service Medals, with one Bronze Star. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Shila Lynnette Jackson and a granddaughter, Raania Serenity Hayes, both of Columbus; her mother, Pearlie (McDonald) Crowell of Sandusky; sisters, Deborah (Willie) Ambers and Felicia (Michael) Osborne, both of Montgomery, Alabama, Patricia (Jackson) McClendon of Columbus, Michelle Lindsey of Dublin, Ohio, Brenda (Scott) McKenzie of Michigan and Kia Jackson of Mississippi; brothers, Joseph, Benjamin and Anthony (Carla) Jackson, of Columbus, Charles Jackson, Paul Moore, Brandon (Myja) Jarrett of Sandusky, Kevin (Janel) Martin of Florence, New Jersey. Services will be held Saturday March 26, 2022 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way in Sandusky, with viewing from 10am until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
