Ethel Carol Kelson

Ethel Carol Kelson, 51, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at New Life Hospice Center following a lengthy illness. She was born October 28, 1969, in Lorain where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Admiral King High school in 1989. Ethel was formerly employed at Golden Acres Nursing Home where she worked in the dietary department. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lorain. She enjoyed playing bingo and listening to music. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Lundon Kelson; her father, Isaac Kelson Jr.; her two sisters, Jackie (Sammie) Stroud and Mary Johnson; and a host nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Mae Johnson; grandparents, Mary Johnson, Woodford Johnson, William Johnson and Edward Johnson; two uncles and two aunts. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Brown- Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
