Eric D Riser Sr

Eric David Riser, Sr., 57, passed away May 25, 2023 in New Life Hospice following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 31, 1965 in Lorain, Ohio where he was a lifelong resident.
 
Eric attended Lorain City Schools and Akron Public Schools. He worked as a transportation coordinator and a STNA for over 35 years. He was known for his enormous collection of Hot Wheel cars and movies. He loved watching the NBA games, socializing with friends and cutting the grass.
 
Eric is survived by his five children, Eric Riser Jr., Autumn Riser, Kyle Riser, Jordan Riser, and Erica Riser; two grandchildren, Chanelle Riser and Peyton Graham; his mother, Shirley Louise Riser; a brother, Terrence (Diantha) Riser, and a sister Holly (John) Clayton; and other loving relatives and friends.
 
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Barry Robinson, and grandmother, Ethel Cave (Nana).
 
Visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2023, from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Cathedral of Praise Family and Worship Center, 4545 Elyria Ave, Lorain 44055, with Pastor Bishop Melvin Brown officiating.
