Eric Dusty Brown Jr

It is with heavy hearts, our beloved Eric Dusty Brown Jr. passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2025. Eric, best known as “EB or E”, was born September 18, 1979, in Elyria, Ohio at Elyria Memorial Hospital. He resided in Lorain, Ohio where he worked as a Cook. A loving and devoted family man who loved life.

EB took a lot of pride in cooking for others. He loved watching the Cleveland Guardians, Cavs and the Browns. He was a great baseball player from the age of seven until he became a teenager. He cherished time with his family and children, laughing and reminiscing. He enjoyed listening to and singing R&B and rap. He was always the life of the party.

He leaves loved ones to cherish and honor his memory, his parents, Gregory and Jacqueline Lovett; His Love, Angela Bors; Children: Malik Edwards, Ny’Eshia Brown, Tatyana Brown, Ashanti (Jayloni) Brown, Nadia Brown; Stepchildren: Kayla (James) Seitz, and Hailey Truxall; Grandparents: Annie Ruth Hough, and Mary Ann Lovett; siblings: Yolanda Lovett, Jamar Benjamin, Latricia (Vern) Brown-Kapucinski, Erica (Jevon) Terry, Katierra Tolliver, Alexis Brown; 13 grandchildren; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Eric Brown Sr., a brother, Aaron Brown Sr.; Grandfathers: John Brown Sr., Jesse Smith, Henry Lovett; Grandmother Patricia Lee Smith; Uncles: Marc Johnson, Marcus Lovett, Gary Lovett, Lani Smith, and Terrance Smith.

His presence, laughter, witty sense of humor, and beautiful handsome smile will truly be missed by all.

Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain.
