Donnie D Daniel Jr

Donnie D. Daniel, Jr., 46, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born Sunday, September 11, 1977, in Amherst, Ohio, to Donald Michael Daniel and Deborah Jean Daniel (nee Epps). He attended Lorain City Schools and worked at various factories throughout Lorain County. 

Donnie was affectionately known as “Little Donnie” or “Don Juan”; he preferred Don Juan because he felt as if the word “little” did not describe him. His nephew Edward called him “Black Hulk” and Donnie relished the new name; it made his already swollen chest swell even more with pride. Donnie was a provider and protector; he was also honest, loving, smooth, and stylish. Donnie was a social butterfly who enjoyed playing pool, darts, and cornhole; he enjoyed boxing as well. Donnie was known to give those he greeted a firm handshake or hug, coupled with his beautiful smile. He greeted his family members as “little cuz”, heavy emphasis on the “little”.  

Donnie will be fondly remembered by his only child, Don Christopher Anthony Clinchscales, his father Donnie Daniel, brother Edward Daniel, and sister Brittany Daniel; nephews Zakeen and Edward, Jr.; nieces Enyjah “MoeMoe”, Dai’tona, and Cali, a brother from another, Wilfredo “Chipy” Vasquez, a loving host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Jean Daniel (neé Epps), maternal grandparents Arnold and Carrie Epps, and paternal grandparents Nathaniel Daniel and Cleo Atkinson, and other unforgettable relatives. 

Visitation hours will be held from 6:00–8:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain Ohio 44053, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
