Claude R. Robbins

Claude R. Robbins, 87, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 after a brief stay at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born September 11, 1934 in Caldwell County, North Carolina and lived in Lorain County for over 57 years. He retired from the American Tank & Fabricating Co. after 34 years as a burner. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching westerns. Claude is survived by his daughter, Donna Parsons; four sons, Tom Robbins, Chris (Robin) Robbins, Ed Robbins and Tim Robbins; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; three brothers, Harold (Joyce) Robbins, Mitchel (Libby) Robbins and Doug (Tina) Robbins, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Magalene Robbins; son, Billy Wayne Robbins; stepson, Larry Wheeler; parents, Clyde & Nora (Jenkins) Robbins; a brother, Ray Robbins; three sisters, Peggy Coffey, Jean Vines and Louise Maines.
