Charles Perry, Jr., age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Charles was born to the union of Charles “Buck” Perry, Sr. and Emma Lois Perry in Dyersburg, Tennessee on March 18, 1965. However, he lived most of his life in Lorain, Ohio. Charles’ biggest joy was being a “Jack of all Trades”. Throughout his life he was a neighborhood mechanic, he owned and operated his own lawn care business, he was a master chef in his own right, and he loved to eat as much as he loved to cook (he also had his very own sweet tea and Kool-Aid recipe, that was sugar sweet). He was a lifelong fan of wrestling and old western movies. Charles loved to party…he was also the life of the party, and he celebrated his birthday the whole month of March. Charles never met a stranger and found a friend in everyone that crossed his path! Charles leaves to cherish his memory, a loving companion of 24 years, Patricia Berry; 2 daughters: Shawnta Perry of Dyersburg, TN and Charlania Johnson of Lorain, OH/Orlando, FL; 2 sons: Micah Wilson of Lorain, OH and Brandon Perry of OH; 3 grandchildren: Cortez Barbee, Jordan Perry, and Justice Perry all of Dyersburg, TN; 2 brothers: Ricky Perry of South Valley, MI and Kenneth Caldwell (Vicky) of Dyersberg, TN; 2 sisters: Wilma Lucas (Murray) of Elyria, OH and Margo Blue of Lorain, OH; a special auntie, Loretta Donovan; a special niece, Brooklynn Perry; a special neighbor/friends, Mr. Leonard, Antonio “Stretch” Dillard, Edward Stewart and a father figure, Glen Jenkins; as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Perry, Sr. and Emma Perry; sisters: Afadela Perry and Vicky Perry-Lowe; grandmothers: Mary Perry and Elizabeth Moody. A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
