Carol Ann Henry

Carol Ann Henry was born April 29, 1953, in Lorain Ohio. She passed away peacefully in her home October 3, 2024, after a brief illness.  

She was a lifelong resident of Lorain, graduating from Admiral King High School in 1972. She went on to work for Lorain City schools for many years and retired in 2018.  

Family was important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them. This was evident as her home was full of pictures and memories of every family member.  

Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved son, Jason Henry, a sister, Dorothy Tarrant, and brothers, Drayton Henry of Kent, OH, Davie (Sharon) Henry, Wiley Henry, and Claudell of New York, her nieces, Deedee, Laquetta, Angie, Quanita, Latasha, Gina, Lakiesha, Shaniesha, Mary, Felicia, Shyla, Destiny, Ann, and Ashley, and nephews, Clayton lll (Tug), Ronnie, David, and Brandon, as well as a longtime family friend, General Brown, and a host of great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Henry, Sr. and Reasie Lee Henry, and brothers, Clayton Henry, Jr. (Bug), James Henry, and Dennis Henry. 

Carol will truly be missed. A memorial gathering will be held for family and friends to share memories together on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 1pm - 4pm at Brown Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
