Aubrey Huff, 76, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Mercy Regional Medical Center of Lorain, following a sudden illness.
He was born January 6, 1948, in Lorain. He was a lifelong resident and graduated from Lorain High School. Following high school, he served in the US Army and was a Vietnam war veteran. He also did a military tour in Germany.
Aubrey retired from US Steel after 35 years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 1106, the VFW, the Knights of Columbus of Lorain, and the American Legion of Elyria.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching old western movies.
Aubrey is survived by his siblings, Gretchen Brown (James), Marsha Terry (Wayne), Jamie Huff, Norman Huff, Susan Patton (Kenneth), Eddie Huff (Dawnyelle), Craig Huff, Michael Huff, all of Lorain Ohio, and Tracy Huff of Toledo Ohio; two aunts, Ethel Huff and Ruth Huff Hamilton and two uncles, August Reese and Gene Carr; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Huff and Doris Huff (née Crisp); brothers, Vincent Crisp and Jeffery Huff; a sister, Gwendolyn Huff-Holloway, and two nieces, Jacqueline Brown and Lucretia D. Williams.
A viewing/visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain OH 44052.
