Arthur "Mike" Charles Holloway III

Arthur Charles Holloway III, affectionately known as Mike, was born November 18, 1952, to Arthur and Bernice Holloway, in Cleveland, Ohio.  

Mike attended primary and secondary school in Ohio, and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree at Penn State. He received his master’s degree in political science at Oberlin College. Mike had a brief career as an educator—he loved encouraging young adults.   

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bernice and Arthur Holloway, his sister Arelia Holloway, and brother Kevin Holloway.  

He is survived by his wife, Celeste Holmes-Holloway; sister Bernadette Keaton; brother Terrance Holloway; sisters-in-law Georgiana Holloway, Alicia Holloway, Candace Holmes, and Denise Woods; stepson Adolfo Nieto, and stepdaughter Tanika Lynch, and a host of nieces and nephews.  

Mike’s internment was held May 3, 2024, at King Memorial Park in Windsor Mill, Maryland.
