Annie Merl Springer

Annie Merl Springer, age 93, was born October 6, 1931, in Dozier, Alabama. She transitioned peacefully to eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. 

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Lovie (Crowell) Bryant; her devoted husband, of 63 years, Timothy Springer; her brothers, Willie J. Bryant of Huntsville, AL and James Edward Bryant of Lorain, OH, and sisters; Maude Thomas of Lorain, OH, Debra A. Cook of Queens, NY, Alice Douglass of Lawrenceville, GA. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: Elder James B. (Jewel) Bryant of Stockbridge, GA., Clifford S. (Beverly) Bryant of Lorain, OH; a devoted niece, Brenda Payne of Madison, AL, along with numerous other friends and loved ones. 

Annie retired from the Lorain City Schools, where she worked as an assistant with small children. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and reading her Bible. She was a member of Buckeye Chapter O.E.S #46 in Lorain. 

Annie was an active member at Second Baptist Church in Lorain, Ohio. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Second Baptist Church, 300 W. 13th Street, Lorain Ohio 44052. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
